Hi everyone I sell on eBay for extra money and to support my expensive hobbies lol. But I love checking the coinstar machines when I am at a store that I know has one. I went Friday to ship a non eBay package to the post office. My mom said please do not go check the coinstar machine because we have a lot of errands to run. But what did I do I went check the coinstar but boy am I glad I went because I found a beautiful .1 centavos from Mexico from 1914, a 1942 Mercury dime, a 1942 Walking Liberty half dollar, a 1965, 1967, 1968D Kennedy half dollar. Sadly someone grandma or grandpa died and they got rid of their coin collection. But I told my mom it’s now going to a good home.
Wow! Those are absolutely amazing reject tray finds! It's the kind of finds wish I could see! I check 3 different local Coinstar machines here in NYC and I sometimes get 1 silver dime and a wheat Cent every now and then. Thanks for sharing!
You are very welcome and I hope that one day soon you will find a coinstar find like that. I think of it as right place/right time.
Thank you for your comment I appreciate it, I am a collector but can never tell if a coin is good for very good. Thank you again for your comment I appreciate it.
I am NO expert as to why someone would get rid of coins like, but I am thinking sadly grandma or grandpa died and they did not want their coin collection or just did not care or thought they would get money for the coins.
