NGC Generation 5.0 "no-line fatty", encapsulated circa 1992-1995. PCGS Generation 3.1 old green holder (OGH), encapsulated between March 1993 and September 1998.
You made me dig in one of many boxes of forgotten coins. I forgot how many Accugrade coins I picked up years ago. I can't tell what generation this ANACS slab is. It's small. Reverse label is black with gold A's. At least Gen 4 since it has a barcode, but probably Gen 6. I guess this one is common, I think Gen 9.
High cert#, gold As make it late in the Amos Press ownership of ANACS before the sale to Anderson Press (parent company of Whitman Publishing) in June/July 2005. That's a period most people don't remember and is typically glossed over in the histories. In 2005, ANACS moved to Dublin, OH (where Anderson Press was then located). In April 2006, ANACS moved to Austin. On December 21, 2007, ANACS was acquired by Driving Force LLC and moved to Colorado, opening there on January 2, 2008. This ended the blue-label era and began the yellow-label era. For Gen 6, John (86Saab, oldslabholders.com) says 1999 - Jan/Feb 2006. https://www.numismaticnews.net/archive/taylor-acquires-relocates-anacs https://coinweek.com/anacs-the-ana-years/
