If they hire the right person for this job it might be a step in the right direction. I think they'll need much more than just one person to make a real difference though.

Until I can be convinced otherwise, this sounds like CYA and lip service to me. "See? We're doing something about it." Didn't they get rid of a volunteer committee a few years ago?

 

• You need a team of specialists to combat the onslaught of fakes on this selling platform. Like Mike above stated.....window dressing. E-Bay could give a hoot. All they are interested in is hustling a buck and buyer be ware.

 

Even so..........it seems they are aware and it's becoming a huge problem. It's a start, and better than their retarded AI bots.

 

Being eBay I’d have to see some results first.
