And let me add, FWIW, if I saw this coin listed in an auction I would not be suspicious of it. It looks good to me. But, again, I have basic knowledge of the issue and I'm just basing my opinion on the many denarii I've handled over the years.
Interesting. Maybe Doug was misreading something. I still think it looks off (but I don't collect these or handle them much).
Dude => you should probably take a breath, take a sip and go have a nap, my coin-friend If you have a problem, then spend $50 and send it to David Sear (you're becoming a bit much) ... we like you and we're sorry that you're having relationship problems, but try not to be a pain and freak-out on your coin friends (that's bad form)
The rationale for me was the BMC footnote combined with what I perceived as the coin looking "off". But if it's a misreading then that's different. If the Roman collectors like it and it is a well documented type I would not worry too much.
that is passion iff some one say my coin is fake, and i am think that it is not then you get this i am fight for my right
i gona not pay 50 euro you all have a good expertise i did it one time he say i beter can see the coin in hand lol
ahahaha, you're a good dude, ro ... ... I hate having life drama (I hope that you roll out of it and and pop back-up like a fricken cat!!)
i am cofussed some say it fake, some say it is real iff i gona sell it, want to say it is a fare coin i like rock and roll
=> well, find out if it's real!! ... if you're relying on "us" to figure it out, then I never want to buy a coin from you!!
ahahaha => that's the spirit!! Ummm, why won't you get a "professional" opinion? ... is your coin not worth the extra investment? ... surprisingly, having a David Sear authenticity certificate might actually be worth the $50 when it comes time to sell? (maybe not?) ... I'm just sayin'
