I think the footnote in BMC on page 64 refers to a different type (Cohen 522) - it's a different obverse (Head of Trajan, laureate, right). The reverse description is different too - "Trajan, in military dress, standing, holding spear and receiving shield from kneeling figure."

For what it's worth, RSC says for its entry for 522 - "This may be a misdescription of 376-377a".

It looks like there are serious questions about your coin. I'm now sure it's probably fake, but I'm not sure. Who knows. This thread is confusing

 

I don't know enough about Trajan's coinage to comment whether your coin is authentic or not, but Sallent's advice is sound: DON'T BUY FROM EBAY!

Doug said it best too: changing metals isn't going to change the outcome if you continue to buy from questionable sources.
