Hello All, I just found a coin in a roll of American pennies and it has an error on its reverse side I've not seen before. Can anyone offer a clue or explanation on what it is and how it was created? Any information would be very much appreciated. Thank you, Dave
It a Lamination Planchet issue. Delamination actually. Excellent find! Here is the information Lamination: Fold Over Before Strike https://share.google/Gkof11oorwBLaFCIG
Not really. That's an amazing Lamination but not worth that much. I have purchased similar errors for about $40.00 - $50.00 No Correct
That is just excellent information. Thank you very much. I really appreciate the assistance. I didn't know where to begin to look for that particular defect and your reply hits the nail dead center. Thanks again. Dave
