1992 lincoln penny doubling on the year?

    Very blurry picture, but it looks like die deterioration. Zinc cents are very bad about that.

    It's a bit of a stretch to tell much of anything from your photo (keep in mind that if you can't, neither will we), but it doesn't display the type of doubling you're hoping for. It's most likely either die deterioration or an artifact of plating, unfortunately.

    I saw a 92 D sell for $21.50 as a final bid that had a strong doubled date. even though something may not be a legit error, it doesn't mean it's not worth money to some.
