A little bit of dumb luck got me another regular composition. Yesterday I found a 1942 and today I found a 1942-D.

That's a nice set of nickels. From different rolls I assume, but the source might be the same...someone's collection?

In the past 3 months I have found about 10 silver and 2 regular composition. And, today I found a blank nickel. I'm guessing that someone's collection or accumulation got dumped into a coin star.

Sounds about right. I'll bet that happens quite often. Bad for them, good for you.

Those are nice looking coins. Also nice that you are still pulling silver from circulation.

I have been collecting for over 75 years. This is the first blank I have ever seen in the wild.

I have several but I’ve had them for so long I can’t remember where or when I got them. They are copper so older than 1982. Could even be from Wheat cents for all I know.

A nice addition to your collection even if you don't know where they came from. They add interest.

I found 2 Tallgrass Prairie W Mint Quarters today. Post some pics later. My collecting great grandson has a basketball game this morning.

Looking forward to the photos but family is more important. Enjoy the game.
