Sorry if this has been talked to death. I haven't submitted coins in a while and was looking to submit some large cent for grade and attribution and some modern foreign gold. I was surprised that NGC was the most expensive, seems like PCGS has historically been the most money to submit.
Who are people using right now and how has been your luck and experience with CAC been?

I'll buy coins in CAC slabs, but I'm not paying more than any other grading service is getting for the same mint/grade. If I had something exceptionally rare, I might consider a bean attempt but no, not sending anything for them to slab.

If you are trying to milk the most money and value out the coins you are submitting, CACG is the way to go. I've never tried having a coin graded before, nor do I know what is the most popular platform right now, but I can give you this: Look at the price differences:

    1926-D Lincoln Cent MS64 RB NGC:$550
Same exact grade CACG: $675 (+$125)
    Another would be this:
    1870 Indian Head Cent AU 53 PCGS:$640
    same coin: AU50 CACG: $675 (+$35)
The CACG coin is a lower graded coin, but still more expensive.
If you have the means, CACG is a better investment, but that's just my opinion.

I’ve submitted a few coins to CACG I love the slabs. As for grading they are very strict on grading but that does not hinder me by no means I want the brutal truth and I believe they do not hold back from that. Will be sending quite a few rare coins to them at the ANA Savannah convention next week.in my opinion they are the best why settle for less!!!

PCGS has been a disaster on my last 2 submissions. Don’t waste your money with them.

They finally returned this last submission. The main problem was that I tried the online submission form which has limited options for the submission. I didn’t know that a coin with a planchet flaw needed to be listed as a mint error - which adds a little cost. I was never contacted and would have gladly paid the fee. They instead gave it a details grade because of the planchet flaw. I contacted them while they still had it and could correct it but they said the only way to correct it was to resubmit and pay all the fees.

Now we get to the part where they wouldn’t let me use the grading vouchers on my account because I didn’t submit these coins under the “Regular” tier ($45) but instead submitted them under the “Economy” tier ($22). I told them they should hope all their customers did that.

TLDR: They let unused vouchers expire and graded a planchet flaw as a details coin.

Wow! I'm sorry to hear about all that. That type of customer service is unacceptable.

I have a similar sentiment and experience.

My first submission went well but my latest had to go back twice before they got it right. I did not renew.

I will check out CACG grading at some point.
