@Barberian . Excellent coins. Usually I am less than enthusiastic about Arrows & Rays coins but that one is a keeper. james

PCGS dinged it for a significant, toned over obverse scratch near Liberty's leg. I like the coin for its look and color, but aside from the scratch it has also been polished a bit.

Here are two that @Randy Abercrombie just up and gave to me when we were traveling to the 2026 FUN show in Orlando.

I'd rather have this VF20 Seated quarter than a typical AU50 or so.

This 1877-S half is, as of this posting, the main prize coin in my Giveaway #138 on Collectors Universe. So post an entry over there if you have a CU membership and you want a crack at it. We'll do the random drawing on February 1, 2026.

The best part might be that there is enough detail there to determine which of the 37 or 38? varieties it is. James

I believe it's the same DM as this coin, which I have tentatively identified as WB-2. This is another nice, circulated cameo.

1855-O Arrows 50c PCGS XF40. Love those slanted, curlicue 5s.

I just pulled the trigger on this three minutes ago after accepting the seller’s counteroffer. I ended up paying $250, which is the full PCGS value. Oops, no, after shipping, it was $254.88. So that extra $4.88 was my “CircCam premium”, I guess. LOL.

    Worth it to me.

That's a good price for that attractive coin. I paid about $200 more for this XF45 coin with a green sticker off of Stacks Bowers. That was about twice retail. 1855-O PCGS XF45 CAC both sides.jpg

Thanks. I just can’t bring myself to pay that much more than retail. Too cheap, I guess. But the one time I did go hog-wild, it was for a CircCam.

It's a nice, well-struck coin, but I'm also getting anxious to finish my set and have been throwing money at the problem. I've had a tough time finding certain coins like a 39ND, 48-O, 50-O, 70-P, and 70-S.

One of my best circ cameos just got stickered. This coin was part of a raw, two-coin lot along with a nice, original 1853 quarter in Fine that closed at $125 on eBay. I don't know how that happened considering this coin was so attractive. Definitely one of my better eBay purchases aside from cherry picks.
