What is this doubling on the word America

I am seeing Die Deterioration doubling. Considered worthless doubling.

Remember, the word is doubled (Doubled Die) not double.

 

I'll take a stab at the date
It's either 82 or 84 and yes that's a doubled die easiest way to tell from these pictures is look at the bead next to " UNUM " easy to see it's doubled

That die wasn't going to strike very many more.

 

I have 3 of them and they are 1979 D , I also have 4-5 of them with die cracks running along the first 2 pillars of the building , I highlighted the die cracks but not very good picture
