What is the "FIRST" thing you notice on this AU coin?

Answer on Monday. Take a guess? You only have this image on Ebay. It is turned the way it is in order to best expose what you should see.

The first thing I noticed is that you posted it as a damn thumbnail!

Not picking on you but it's there in front of you and very important. Collectors need to develop their eyes to what a coin tells them.

You shouldn't have said "the first thing" if I have to look that hard. I can't enlarge the image. My eyes are pretty bad, but do I see an "alligator eye"?

Possible whizzing and retoned

 

Liberty's cheek, from her eye to her jaw, is a different color than everything else on the coin, also, i'm not sure but i think i see parallel hairlines, if this were the only image i had i would pass on it.

 

The first thing I see is an image of The Virgin Mary on Liberty's cheek

 

I had one Morgan that had what looked like a Project Mercury space capsule on her cheek. I think I still have the image.

My eyes (as not much of a collector) were drawn to the gash on her head.

 

I noticed that it's a pretty rotten picture. That is honestly the very first thing I noticed. Then my eyes moved to the gashes on poor Liberty's forehead and nose and then something made me say "hmmm" about her lower lip and upper chin.

Had i not been on (the lookout) 6 or 8 beers into friday night (per my usual) i may have missed it. Wait until i go to Roosters and come back home, she may look like a proof 68 deep cam with subtle hints of rose, jade and deep sea blue with gold and cobalt highlights feathered through her abyss of mesmerizing enchantment.

First thing I noticed if that it looks like a Morgan dollar which has been on a binge and fallen flat on its nose.

 

That it's a weird gold color.

 

Besides the 90 degrees rotation, which makes me believe I should have a closer look at LIBERTY, I can see an earring (at the wrong place though
