OK, I finished that book. It was all right, but abruptly ended around 1805, just as the War of the Third Coalition was beginning. None of the subsequent battles, no invasion of Russia, no downfall, no exile to Elba, no Hundred Days, no Waterloo, no Saint Helena. Weird. It is as if there was a book about Hitler that ended in 1933 or 1934. Or one about Churchill that ended in WW1. Maybe there's another volume? I dunno.

Have had my fill of Napoleon for a while, anyway, so I'm getting back into my time machine (i.e., picking up a different historical audiobook). I'll be staying in France, but traveling back to the 16th century to hear about Francis I.
