Hey, you've been a member for many years and you still don't know that there is a proper section on CoinTalk to post this sort of thread? Paper Currency forum! Also, it's not a mint error. It would be a BEP error. There should be a premium for that issue. It depends on what a collector of that printing error would be willing to pay for it.
The mint doesn’t print paper bills, only coins. Only the Bureau of Printing and Engraving does. Yes, it’s an error. Here is one of mine. Yours is “Partial Offset printing back to front”.
Here, I'll pull out my magic moderator wand and move this thread to the Paper Money forum. Fasten your seatbelts. Boom! There we are.
Wow, I must say that I have been a member a long time and I'm really sorry I did this wrong. Your attitude surprises me some. I just ask for a little help . Thank you.
I am sorry too. It is unfortunate for members (or visitors) to be slammed for posting in the wrong section. That is a really neat note, and I am glad you posted it! Responses should encourage more people to participate. I fear that there are times responses encourage the opposite. I have spoken and now lay my hand over my mouth.
He gets a bit snarky sometimes. It's just a matter of tone. But he's a valuable member. Don't let it bother you, @Donnis E Wilder.
It’s not LOL when folks come here seeking help and get nitpicked to death. Let’s try to bear that in mind.
On whose part? Not Patrick’s. For a minute there, it sounded like you were pouring more scorn on the OP. Sorry.
Absolutely not. If it was construed that way, my apologies… Innocent mistakes are innocent mistakes, no matter how seasoned anyone is. Lord knows, I make bunches of them.
If the person only knew that I'm probably the nicest person in the world they would appreciate me more than ever!
