Just picked up 2 Cuba Piedforts. Even though they are both marked 26.72g they actually weigh double that. They each have a mintage of 150 pieces.
Iceland 1930 10KR. I have been waiting to get this one as it fits in to my multiple size dollars collection although bit late issue.
Also another loesor for my multiple size taler collection. Brunswick-Lüneburg-Celle. Christian Ludwig 2 Taler 1664-LW AU53 NGC, Clausthal mint, KM252.5, Dav-LS189. 57.72gm. Counterstamp "Z" next to the date signifies a double Taler denomination.
I love those Piedforts. I think they are also called double dukatoons. Here is mine one year later from Zeeland. It was ex-mount but one of the two I love most from my collection.
Here's a spectacular coin from Anhalt-Bernburg. It easily surpasses my current example from the state and the girls in hand are just as flashy as you can imagine from the true view. This will surely remain in the collection a long time.
I have not been contributing much for a while. I collect mainly British coins and the prices for anything half decent are extreme at present. I have just received this 1860 penny. For those interested in varieties this is obverse die 2, reverse die D, making Freeman 10. Not a scarce variety but a decent upgrade for my collection.
