United States: 1888-S gold Liberty Head eagle ($10.00)

PCGS MS63+. Cert. #82949209. CAC verified.

    Numista-16134, Krause-Mishler-102.

    Mintage: 648,700.

Ex-Michael Swoveland, dba WNC Coins, LLC, Asheville, NC, 11 November 2022.

This is a lovely example of the Coronet or Liberty Head gold eagle "With Motto" type. It seems nice for the grade, and the Certified Acceptance Corporation (CAC) "green bean" sticker on the slab confirms that.

Thanks. The pics were just shot by @messydesk, last month at the FUN show. Previously I had only pics that were taken by me, with my phone, and while (barely) adequate, they were shadowy and not great. His pics do the coin more justice.
