A pair of Civil War copper-nickel Indian cents with 180° die rotation errors

An interesting pair I picked up on eBay recently- cheap- for my giveaways stash.

Both have 180° (↑↑) "medal" rotation instead of the standard US 0° (↑↓) "coin" rotation.

Both struck at the height of the Civil War. There’s an 1862 and an 1863. The 1863 has some environmental damage, but hey, it only cost six bucks and change. I’m giving both of these away anyway.

The pair cost me a grand total of $21.89 after shipping.
