Picked up an 1852 capped bust dime that is toned. Looks pretty good, and much better in hand. What would you value it at, and does the toning, in your opinion, add any value?

I'd say VG cleaned recently so overall G.

    I'd pay around $10-$15

Hello, Digging thru some coins, not sure where I even got this one.
Even the cardboard holder is old. Is it worth sending to pcgs ?

I say no. Keep it for yourself.
Seriously, you wouldn't be able to recoup your money unless you just want a fancy holder. I'd say put it in one yourself for a coin in this condition.

Nice Bust half but I wouldn’t pay to have her graded.

There is a curled base two and a square base two. The square base is the more common and I think that puts yours in the $250.00 range. Now for me that puts it in the slab category. I try to slab all my coins worth more than $200.00 to keep them safe for the next generation of collectors. It’s a mighty good looking half. Perfect candidate for ICG. They will slab it for you in the twenty dollar range.
