Hey everyone, First time posting in this forum. I hope I'm doing it right. What with a bunch of recent expenses, plus looking at possibly building a house in the near future, I'm going to be selling off a significant number of coins in the next several months. This is my first batch consigned to CNG, twenty coins total. They're mostly ancients, but there's a couple nice world coins too. I hope that you find something that catches your fancy! Overall I think CNG did a good job with both description and photos. A few notes: The Thessaly hemidrachm is ex BCD Collection, and I sent CNG his original tag and Polaroid photo cutout. The Divus Julius/Octavian dupondius came in an coin envelope marked ex Malcom Hay. The Augustus quinarius is lovely in hand, and according to the seller from whom I purchased it (Tater the Cat, eBay) it was from the Lt. Col. William Taylor McAnich Collection (you should be able to find some more on that on ACSearch.) CNG didn't include that information since I suppose it's not verifiable and didn't come with any collection tag, but I include it here for what it's worth. The Claudius LIBERTAS as is marked as an imitation, but many consider it a legitimate official issue and an extremely rare variant. It's not listed in RIC.
