Not a common coin. I saw one in high AU grade auctioned 10+ years ago & it went for around $3,700.

Now to topic, I have 1930 AV 10 Bolivares, but no photo.
Here is a coin struck in Birmingham Mint/ part of the 24 nations that featured 2AR Crowns and one 34g. AV coin.
I was lucky to win at a Stacks auction all 24 PROOF gold coins for 500US @
Venezeula
AV 1000 Bolivares
Peruvian Cock of the Rock (BIRD)
AND...
One from MVGA
Gran Colombia (Colombia-Venzeula-Panama-Ecuador)
all formed Gran Colombia!

 

Well I suppose I have to post my two AV Venezuelan coins too in a lame attempt to compete with Panzer. Although I will have to say that recently I watched a YouTube and it showed the only US Super-Pershing (tank) deployed to Germany in WW-2. It fought and killed a Tiger-II (also known as the King Tiger) in a tank battle. No idea how factual the YouTube is. A Pershing or Super-Pershing also destroyed the sole Panther defending Paris after the German Army pulled out.

Actually Hitler ordered Paris to be destroyed but the German General in charge disobeyed orders and surrendered it peacefully & without damage. There's a book I read about this.


Venezula, 5 Venezuleos 1875 NGC-61 I recall
unlike the silver 1 Venezuleos, these are not that rare but are typically found around ms-61. I think it's a bank hoard.

It would never had happened if My Uncle had commanded the Königstiger or Panther.

 

Man youre making me want to dig my stuff out and take some photos. I lived there for almost two years in the 90's and picked up some cool stuff, common but cool. Those old silver fuertes are awesome.

 

About 10 years ago, Sedwick's auctions auctioned a Complete date set of Venezuelan 5 Bolivars. Most of the coins were low grade. I don't recall if it had the 1876 1Venezuelo but it had everything else. Silver then was about $15/oz. I threw in a bid of maybe $400 as there were 30 of the "silver dollars" but just got outbid. I meant to raise my bid but didn't get around to it.

It was in a specially made Whitman folder (or similar) just for the Venezuelan large silver 5-Bolivar coins. Such a neat set.
