This coin tops all as far as the man's hat goes, looks a bit off kilter or maybe even a little quirky but I would never talk against anyone's culture besides, I like his hat! thumbsup.gif Maybe not something I would wear but different strokes is what makes this world a better place for all. :D Here's some quick facts on the coin, it's dated 1975 Bhutan 25 Chetrums coin (KM#40) features a diameter of 18.9 mm, a weight of 2.6 grams, and is composed of copper-nickel, wish it was gold but that would be out of my price range!

    It is indeed cool looking.

Curious, and wanting to see photos, I had to Google his "hat".

It is called The Raven Crown.

Here's an earlier King of Bhutan, Ugyen Wangchuck, wearing it in 1905.

1950, ½ Rupee, Bhutan. Crowned bust of king Jigme Wangchuck.
    Minted in Calcutta, India.
I enjoy coins like this one due to the fun of investgating where they come from.

I’ve been a World coin collector for decades, but I cannot recall ever having owned a single piece from Bhutan, even in my bulk bag cherrypicking days.

    King Jigme Wangchuk (1906-1952)

    Bhutan 50 Naya Paisa 1966
    Copper-nickel, 24 mm, 5.9 gm
