Thank God my computer decided to communicate correctly with the camera. Lap top is old and the equipment needs updating. Anyways it is an 85O.
yes very nice pickup and price not that I know anyone grabbing morgan dollars out of the present silver selloff flood
I have watched this coin in an antiqued store for a couple of years always overpriced. It always excited me seeing it just sit there. It has deep toning, late stage..
A Morgan with that kind of sweet toning for less than ten bucks over melt? Chalk that one up as a win, my friend!
Do you mean it was 90 bucks after taking the 15% off, or before? Because if you got it for 15% lower than 90 bucks (i.e. for $76.50), then you got it for below melt! Either way, a solid win.
I just bought 3 Morgan’s yesterday while at my antique shop. They were $12.00 under spot but by the end of the day it was just over $15.00 less than spot. I also bought some Barber Quarters for $3.00 pounder spot. Silver is going up so fast you can’t price it fast enough to keep up with the spot price of silver.
Yes coin had a $90 price tag on it. That was about a week ago, spot was around 90. So, I paid a little more than melt at the time.
