With Greenland in the news lately it seems like a good time to show some coins from the island. I probably have more coins from here than most people because I love polar bears and most of their coins have polar bears on them. I also love rather obscure places to collect coins from, so it checks a few boxes. I don't think Greenland has any currently circulating coins. Here are the ones I have. The first six here are mining tokens.
Wow, I didn't know about those 1922 mine tokens before. I wish they would've used that design for the actual coins.

I no longer have this one. I picked it up in a jar full of foreign junk at a local auction and sold it for a substantial amount in 2018. I believe this was the first ever issue of coins for Greenland:
