Just plucked this one off the Flea. 1891 CC. Honest opinions on grade. Photos are worse than mine, but the ICG slab made me grab it, and it fills a hole with a not terrible coin. Full disclosure, I got it for PCGS coin guide money in grade XF45. 1891cc obv.png 1891cc rev.png

Finally upgraded my silver Roosevelt dime from MS65 (okay looking) to MS67 and much prettier.

Also picked up another Kennedy for my Kennedy Collection of random toned coins.

These are my pickups from FUN Show in Orlando last week. It was a great show, lots of people, dealers and activity. Lots of great collector coins for everybody.

Well I am a knucklehead. I can't stop stacking common Morgans. I think she's purdy, in spite of the grade. And I'm not a toner guy. I just love the coin and if one could be partial to this plastic holder, it's me. 1883O.png 1883Orev.png What say ye?

I’m mostly into toners and MS brown copper but I couldn’t resist the look of this early red Lincoln.

Very nice, and love those super sharp Obverse strikes in the early lincolns.

Plus the hubs were reworked to strengthen the obverse design that year. 1916 probably had the best strikes of any year in the wheat series. Some strikes rivaled the 1916 matte proofs.

New eBay purchases. I looked for 3 years to find maple leafs in a soapbox to no avail. With silver skyrocketing, they are starting to make their appearance. IMG_1237.jpeg IMG_1238.jpeg IMG_1239.jpeg IMG_1240.jpeg

My latest and final purchase arrivals for 2025 from PNG (Professional Numismatist Guild) online dealers. 1936 Proof Mercury Dime PR63; 1938 Walker Half Dollar PF65. The Mercury Dime is a first year proof of the series. Under magnification some minute hairlines from earlier cleaning and slight later toning in the fields BUT visually looks great with plenty of luster. BOTH visually look better than the dealer online pics.

These little guys are getting hard to find in affordable grades (with drapery especially rare). Needed it for my 1840 NGC registry set and I'm happy with the PCGS VF20 (w CAC) grade, although I think that it's really nice for that grade..
