I have this 1934 S walking liberty and I’m debating on whether I should get it graded and how much it’s worth. Also it doesn’t have much of its original luster just a bit when the light shines on it right. Thanks!

Send it in. It won't get a mint state grade.

The big price increase is above MS 62

Maybe show us some larger pictures? hard to grade by pictures. Should be "in hand" and if you give it an "Acetone bath", it may look better. ;)

Not worth the grading cost. It’s nice but it won’t grade high enough for you to recover your expenses.

It's a nice example, but I don't think it's worth sending in. It may not even get a straight grade with the green stuff happening on it, and I don't see it getting above XF in any case.

You should just keep and enjoy it. With the price of silver, you'd get more for the scarp value than it would have gotten graded. Lots of silver coming out of the books, drawers and binders so, I think, that the buyers have the best hand. The market will be, or already is, full of choice coins. I'm not sure that the coin would make AU, and might just be a "details" coin if you send it in.

I think that date in that condition is still a good bit nicer than scrap. Just not enough to justify the expense of grading, especially if there's a risk it won't grade cleanly.

Acetone won’t hurt it if you don’t rub it.

You need to use industrial grade acetone, not nail polish.

If the PVC seems to be stuck on the coin it may take a couple soaks.
Rolling a qtip is ok. No swiping the qtip or rubbing the qtip. And you may want to go buy a box for yourself, as to not piss off your lady when she has none.
