It’s the 1942/41-D variety. In hand it shows but the Denver Mint did a good job in hiding the overdate. Philadelphia did horrible. It’s definitely the overdate and you can se it better with a 10x. It just doesn’t show in the photo.
I took a number of them and this was the best. I only have my cell phone. It’s there but even in hand it’s hard to see. Denver covered it up well. The Philadelphia with the over date is easy to see. Thanks got the offer. It’s much appreciated.
I just hold my phone and when I snap I hold my breath. I’m about 5-6 inches from my coin. It just takes practice.
Denver didn't do anything. All dies were made in Philadelphia. By chance, the one with the strongest overdate (a form of design hub doubling) wasn't shipped to a branch mint and the other one was shipped to Denver. See if you can get a picture holding your loupe to the lens of your phone. That sometimes works as a makeshift digital microscope.
