About a week and a half ago I gave in and bought the 1 oz. Superman medal; I still thought it was overpriced, but what the heck, I still wanted it and I could afford it, and I decided I wouldn't be getting any of the other "comic art" medals besides that one.

$135 still felt like a lot when silver was $50 an ounce...

But now it's over $90 an ounce, and the Mint announced they'll be adjusting the price on all their silver products upwards to compensate.

$135 still seems like way too much, but with the price of silver, it feels... a lot less too much lol. Now I'm glad I locked in that price before they raised it even more.

And besides, it is a nice medal. Got to give it that.

P.S. Just checked the Mint website; the 1 oz. silver comic art medals are now selling for $200! ($400 for the 2.5 oz. silver ones.)

I am experiencing the same. I accidently won a few auctions and overpaid for silver a while back. I don't feel so bad now!

Yah feeling pretty good about the Krugerrand I bought recently. I didn't overpay for it but still feeling pretty good about its current value.

back in 2015 I bought a set of NGC MS69 2005 Marine Corp Commemorative Coins for $117. Spot was $14.54 that day.
I thought I would never see the day when I broke even.
Break even was 2 weeks ago? Now very profitable at just spot.

I received a credit card offer from Capital One Spark card. $750 rebate for spending $6000 in 3 months.

That's almost worth looking at buying metals at this price point o_O
