Nice coins everyone. I like the Lincoln indianhead, very nice. I picked up this Columbian Expo couple weeks ago.
No photo, but I just got a 14th Edition Guide Book that was bound upside down, and signed by Ken Bressett. But, then, I collect Guide Books, as many know.
I got it as an MS 63 at a local dealer Frank. It looks a bit better in hand than in the pics. Still playing with the S3-IS.
My Twenty Cents Worth I've loved everything I've seen so far guys so here's my latest "big" purchase. Mintage of only 15,900! http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/200001.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/200002.jpg Since this one I've also picked up two Barber quarters. 1915-S in G4 and 1909-O in G/AG. Nothing fantastic there but under rated (just ask Treashunt) and the price was right.
clembo: Very nice piece. I don't have a twenty center, mostly because I have come to hate the 1875 S! They are above as scarce as 2007 Lincoln cents. However--- the 1876 Philly! Now that is nice.
Hello, Already posted in another thread, but I can't resist : Victoria Florin, roman date (MCCCLXIX), gothic legend Cucumbor
The post man brought me a nice Lincoln today. I was a little leery of it because the price was wrong for what they were offering - buy=it-now on eBay no less. However, their feedback was good (Feedback Score: 4242 Positive Feedback: 99.9%) as was their return policy, so I took a chance. I am glad I did. It is not as red as it appears, but I am still glad I did. Anyone want to guess how much it was listed for?
