It's Monday already and some of you have to work. For your numismatic humor, I give you "Mangled Monday"! Post a coin(s) that are somehow mangled or for a better word, damaged, or post mint damage of a different kind. I've had my share of them over the years. I once found a KG2 half penny that was "tacoed" and I bent it back open flat again. I also have some small cents that I somehow accumulated.....
I found this in a roll a number of years ago. This is a zinc cent that I found in our barn a few years ago. I can barely see a few letters on it.
Here is the roadkill quarter that @Randy Abercrombie spent several days ago. Yesterday, outside the FUN show, he got to talking to a lady who was bringing in some silver to sell at the show. She asked him for advice. Then she took out one of her coins she had that she thought was a mint error. It was that EXACT SAME roadkill quarter that Randy had spent a few days earlier!!! And she hadn’t even gone into the show yet. She was bringing that thing in from the outside! So it had gone out into the wild and then come right back to taunt us. What’re the odds? That was freaky.
