1971 Iran Proof Set 2500 anniversary of Persia

Well, seeing that the events in Iran today. I thought it was a good time to post Iranian coins from better times before tyrant Khomeini.

My first ever coin buy.....this is MA-shop foto. My set is still encased in protective plastic tray. So would not look as nice. Post your Iranian coins from Shahs.

Those are very nice! No Iranian coins from me, unfortunately, at least as of yet.

 

Nice, looks pricey, gold coins with the Lion holding a sword and it's a Proof set! I don't have any but I'd like to!

You know, that was my first ever coin purchase!
Cost me $261.00 Canadian, these were struck at the RCM in 1971. The Biafra Set was my second coin buy....$1100US
has 4 1/2 oz gold.
