Here ‘tis. Still not great, and I had to reduce the quality to be able to upload it here, but it gives you a little better idea than a still photo. You can see the cartwheel effect, even if I didn’t capture the PL qualities ideally.

 

I think he sold off all his castoffs in one place, to one dealer he knows. Except the two Seated CircCam coins I snagged from his stash (both mentioned in Post #3 of this thread- and one of which I’ll be giving away).

 

I don’t mind the home, animals, and wife part so much (she handles the bills).

But it’s nice to have a coin geek getaway once a year.

 

For us, half day Friday, full day Saturday, half day Sunday.

 

Exactly my initial impression, first time I saw one. ‘80s throwback sci-fi.

Day 2 of the show (for us)



I was up by 6:30 AM, even before Randy, who is usually up around 4:30 AM in his regular working life. And I had gone to sleep around midnight, long after he’d zonked out.

Urgh. I’m awake but not yet alive.

I overindulged on the Caribbean Jerk Shrimp Pasta last night, and while it was delicious, it did not agree with me.

It’s the meds I’m on. Thankfully my wise spouse advised me to bring some Imodium along. I might skip breakfast.

But that’s TMI. Y’all want to see more coins, not read about my gastrointestinal woes.

And that’ll happen. (More coins, that is- hopefully not more gastrointestinal woes.)

 

No, the Gallery Mint’s coin presses, I’m told, where they are reportedly striking free tokens. I’ll have to go back and check that out today.
