1978 d filled mint????

    hello all,,,
    i found this 1978 d lincoln while metal detecting, and after looking closer found it has a filled D mint mark and something is up with the rim on the east side by liberty can anyone tell me whats up with this coin and if it may be worth something????

    It's hard to tell if it is a "plugged" mintmark or if it is just circulation damage that filled it. A better close-up would be needed.

    The coin might be an off-center strike or the result of a misaligned die, but we won't know without seeing an image of the reverse.

    thx,,,,,,, i looked at the reverse,,, it looks normal,,, so i guess its just a MAD
