Clip planchet?

    No. Not at all.
    That's a copper plated zinc planchet Cent where the copper was compromised and the inner zinc is rotting away.

    Real incomplete Planchets have the same curve as the coin. For example, you can take another Cent and fit it into the curve.

    Planchets are never clipped at any moment. What occurs that the stock sheet sometimes doesn't progress forward properly and the next Planchets are cut too close to the previous hole. The true name would be incomplete Planchets.

    This diagram shows where the different issues occur..

    That is a price example of human destruction and since rot. A clip is an incomplete planchet and the missing piece, a curved clip will match the curve of another coin of the same as and type. I’ll post a photo so you can add n see what I mean.
