I really like the last Lincoln Cent I needed to fill my folder. It’s a 1909-S with the V.D.B. In the correct area.
Yes it is. No scrapes, cuts or dings, just wear. It’s really nice and the price was on the low side for the grade.
COINgratulations! This year will be my 50th anniversary as a collector, and I’ve still never had the 1909-S VDB Lincoln (or the ‘22 Plain). I cherrypicked an XF 1914-D out of a bulk Wheatie roll, once, however. Bought it for less than a nickel. Sold it for around $700!
I have a 1922 plain but it’s slabbed and will stay that way. I’ve had this baby for over 30 years now.
