Luxembourg: 2015 proof bimetallic (silver & Nordic gold) 5-euros of Henri I, European Wildcat

NGC PF69 Ultra Cameo. Cert. #2922925-003.

    Numista-80933, Krause-Mishler-140.

Bimetallic: Nordic gold center in silver (.925) ring. Diameter: 34 mm. Weight: 14.93 g. Mintage: 3,000. Struck at the Royal Dutch Mint in Utrecht, Netherlands.

I like bimetallic coins and thought this one was interesting, with its wildcat design.

I'm not terribly enthused with how any of these photos look.

Side note: “Nordic gold” sounds sexy, but it’s a base-metal alloy. Still, the silver portion of the coin does give it some bullion content.

    Neat design!
I remember growing up on our farm, we had lots of wild felines. Mostly cats city folks dropped off in rural areas. These urban house cats then became "wildcats"
