Can anyone spot a problem with the planchet on this Kennedy?

    Nope.

Can you tell us what you think is a problem? o_O

It’s most pronounced on the reverse.
On the reverse, streaks on dull grey metal. Compared to my other 76’ Kennedy’s, this one sticks out like a sore thumb. Is it counterfeit?

Could be dirty Roller lines that leave those kind of parallel lines in the field of a coin.

The rims seem to be wider in places.

I see the lines but this coin looks normal to me. They really didn’t circulate and I can’t think of any reasons this would have been counterfeited.

I tend to find one of these for about every 2,000 or so that I search. Some are more pronounced, others very light, and usually on both sides going in the same direction. Found this nickel earlier this summer.

Very slight MAD on the obverse of the half. I assume the lines are nothing. But the ksmooter coin is pretty cool.
