Hi everyone, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL !! Bought a Vanga Janpad coin from my hometown Kolkata city. The coin had a mole which I pushed hard and found out to see the red part of the copper coin. Then I cleaned softly with matchstick and soap water and then I took the picture. So, the coin looks bad...I apologize for bad picture and intent was never to clean even with soap water. The coin is not punch marked but the fish over the Conch in reverse points me to its different variety from being a modern fake as logically why a fish motif when its not an important mark of this coins variety. The metal surface is rough and the fish motif is quite visible under glass. Also I know that all coins found in this region were not PMC coins but caste and hand made coins were also found as I have few more including one terracotta round coin which I attached as reference. Kindly give me your genuine views as part of research. weight is 2.55 gram Thank you
