91992 penny

  1. This is a two part question, on the coin that is miss, why? And is that a die cracknon the reverse. 2nd, in Wexler. They talk about doubling on the beard but do all 1992 profiles of the beard, have them sticking up higher. Or am I just tripping

    Where? What extra 9? I see nothing.
    Common die crack. And the date with the missing 1 is a common Struck Through Grease. Nothing really major.

    You "crack" me up Mike.

    Nice little die crack on the reverse. I think the effect on his beard may be from an old hit that pushed some metal up there, hard to tell.

    I would say that that one is a polished die, but I can't be positive without a good obverse photo, well a reverse with it would be good.
