    Okay, in light of that comparison photo, it's hard for me to imagine that this was ever a legitimate coin. Could we see an edge photo? I'm wondering now if there is a casting seam.

    The date placement is consistent with a few that I looked at in slabs. That 7 though it just doesn't look right unless it took a hit and flattened.

    I think that I am back to the altered surfaces theory, I found the other Rosie, and All I can think is that something was left on it, put on it, dried on it, and it etched the surface.
