Thanks guys! I collect all Worldwide gold/ generally go after only mint state quality. However, with the slabbed material there is such a difference in prices between MS-64/65/66/67/68 that I would rather get three MS-65 coins then one that is graded MS-67.
It never fails to amaze me that someone took this coin 150 years ago and socked it away somewhere. This was a lot of money back then, but to see it still in amazing condition, it never gets old.
I agree, but even more amazing are FDC/ MS-67 coins that are almost 2000 years old like this one from my collection... AV Aureus ND struck 230AD Rome Mint Emperor Severus Alexander ....
