1882 P morgan

    Ok... another "common" date but one I needed (if you haven't noticed, I'm trying to fill in the commons) Now I could have bought an 82p in MS62-63 for 90-100 bucks This one caught my eye and in the end I spent more then I should have for it.. Or not I think I would have regretted buying a bright white coin over this lightly edge toned PL pretty Once you get a taste for PL morgans is hard to go back to just MS lol

    What a great pick -up. Pretty obvious they downgraded for the sizable gash under Liberty's eye but most Morgans at this grade level have about zero eye appeal. I would take that coin in a nano second over the usual baggy/scruffy look you usually get; especially when being prooflike adds to the negative eye appeal. James
