I'm watching quite a few, mostly to see what some of them sell for because I already have them. I've tried to keep my focus narrow, mostly the hub transition varieties, and not go overboard by collecting by date/mint or other varieties. It's interesting that Heritage calls out the Rev1/Rev2 types for the 1892 quarters even though they're not attributed on the slabs. They must sense a general interest in collecting both types (I did, a pair of AU58s). That interest hasn't seemed to have expanded to the hub types in the other years and denominations. If you're looking for something like anything in AU58, there's a ton to choose from!
You are correct! I like to see what others post and the fact that it is different than most of what I collect, actually makes it interesting. I get to learn about other areas. And some of my want list items have come from threads posted on the forums (that is how I found out about that Coca Cola slug-I did not know anything about them before the PCGS forum posting).
