    Finally!

It's a common and minor error. Nothing really major.

Why would they even grade that? How could it even GET a grade with no shrp design features, let alone a field that is really non-existent. The poor OP is out $50 that he'll never see, since he was uneducated enough to open his wallet and send it in.

Struck through grease is a mint error. So it can receive a straight grade. The amount of grease determines the design features. The heavier the grease the less details. It also will affect the fields. I can see people paying $50 for this coin but I am not one of them. It needs to be an extremely strong grease filled due to grab my attention as it’s a very common error.

I don't think ANACS costs 50 bucks? Dunno, it's been a long while since I submitted to them.

PCGS or NGC, yeah, once you tally up all the fees.

If you had 10 coins you could do the ANACS show special 10 for $140, so grading/slabbing per coin $14. Variety/error attribution would cost another $14. Return shipping for 10 coins in their lowest value tier is $36, so $3.60 per coin. So net cost for the OP coin in that scenario would be $31.60.

I'm still waiting for pics of SBA's with grease errors; anybody out there?
