It's a TDO and just won it last night on ebay . Can't beat these kinds of prices either .. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1972-S-Eisenhower-Silver-Dollar-Doubled-Die-Obverse-Uncirculated-DDO-Variety-/182067224798?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&nma=true&si=XJVDzfrFmLUCe23g5qNx3ciI4s4%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
I'm going to keep buying them too, prices are right and not a whole lot of people in the game right now .
I hear ya. I'd buy some but I just bought some coins that I'll post after I receive them. I spent some bucks but I wanted them so Ike's can wait.
I've been watching some Morgan too, just wish prices would drop for what the market doing with silver prices ..
Nice, but are you sure that's not a QDO Doing some IKEing this morning and I just found a few 76d peggers from my huge lot I'll post in a few to get your opinion on rick. I think they're on the IDDD site listed as "scarce" but want your opinion
Here's the one I think it is Lee and according to IDDD, more work is needed too ... 1972 S 40% Obverse IDDDO-27 New IDDDR-WH- IDDP-25 Cross Reference: Attributed by: IDDD Thomas Kalantzis. Class: Obverse Class II Doubling and tripling on IGWT. Quintupled 2 in date. TDO seems to be from a Master, however. Submitted by: Steve Palladino. Obverse Description:NewClass II Tripling seen on most letters of IGWT. The dies spread looks wide however because of the stage a die state it is actually tripled. The 2 in date shows signs of quintupling. Doubling on 197 in date. CW tripling seen on LIBERTY. CW and CCW on the E of LIBERTY. Also shows a secondary movement on the E of LIBERTY. The 2 in date has multiple split serifs. Interesting the differences on this die compared to the FS 101 is seen on the E of LIBERTY at 11 o'clock and the 2 in date at 5 o'clock. Reverse Description: CCW spread seen on one dollar - right side AR. This die is in a lazy die state due to die wear. Marker: Obverse in EMDS stage B. Die scratch lower 9 in date, a small die gouge seen on the left upper left inside of the upper loop. Die crack above and to the right of the E of we, and close to neck. Small eye scratch in the form of an X (See pictures below) Obverse MDS. The X marker in the eye area disappears in stage C MDS. Date Recorded: 11/12/2012 POPULATION: 2. Comments: The 2 in date is hubbed into the die, and is quintupled at the bottom of the loop on the left side. So far to date that loop on the 2 is seen with no doubling to quadrupling. The IDDD-027 has the 2 quintupled. The E of LIBERTY shows a CW and CCW spread. A very interesting die. UN-common. More work needs to be done on this die. For both Anacs 4942362 and PCGS 18232250. Obverse stage B in EMDS, a second coin, raw, in stage C in MDS abraded. Tripled class II IGWT W/CW tripling on LIBERTY, to date is different then other tripled dies recorded. The die was abraded. ___________________

It's the perfect place for raw silver coins, at least thats what an old timer told me many years ago . I've had some in there for over a year now ....
I did not do the variety, this was one of the coins going to Tom and now I'm working on other avenues . This coin is also 1 of 64, none finer .
Was rummaging through some older PCGS slabs and ran across a 1972S business strike Ike that I think is the same as yours. Does the T look like this?
