This seems to be a common theme for @Dafydd.

Thank you, David. My grandson flipped when he received your generous world/ancient coin gifts. Unfortunately, I'm so inept with these coins I can't explain to him exactly what you so generously sent to him. Taking clear, close up pix for attribution is proving to be a Herculean task. I can't get the lighting or focus to cooperate.

To the CT community, Dafydd made an offer to my grandson out of the blue, and I was floored. Thank you from my grand and from me.

@masterswimmer . I am happy for you and your son but your picture made me burst out loud laughing. It is a huge family joke from years ago; there are only 3 or 4 pictures of me from 6 months old to High School Graduation in which my dad did not cut my head off. Thanks for the flashback. (My wife claims he was just trying to protect humanity) James

LMAO, sc3991. I can assure you, I wasn't looking to protect humanity from him. Conversely, I am trying to protect him from humanity. Nothing personal ;)

I'm curious about the massive bronze on the right, which appears to be a Roman sestertius. Those are nice to have...
