Thank you, David. I'm going to have to purchase another Vespasian to fill that spot. ;)

Way to go, Deacon Ray! I would really like to get the Vespasian Judaea Capta denarius someday.

No Vespasian for me, but here's the bro's:

12 Vespasians never hurt anyone. I look forward to seeing an updated photo of the set when it's been finished!

Caracalla has made a bit of a presence in my collection. Trying to post pics saved to my albums from my phone isn't happening so take my word.

Ummm, but I can't believe that you have soooo many cool examples, yet you haven't scored the winner yet!!

That is correct. My brother has a wider selection of coins than I do. His collection makes me a very proud big sis. :D

Thanks, Steve! I need to expand my Vespasian collection to 12 coins so I took your advice and purchased a "Standing Eagle".

I need 3 more to make 12 since one of my original 9 was not a Vespasian. The standing eagle replaces the Titus.

I think you have another (very nice) denarius of Titus. Just a bit of a clogged die in the beginning of the legend. The first T is for Titus. T CAESAR IMP VESPASIANVS

That picture of the castellum is great. I am trying to imagine what it would have been like for a native to see the Romans build such a fort. Awesome.

That's is an awesome historical landmark to have near your home, Andres! Awesome coins also!

I didn't set out to collect Vespasians. It was more like all of a sudden realizing that I had 8 of them unintentionally. I'll take it as a sign from the Almighty that Vespasian is the emperor that I should concentrate on. Actually he looks a lot like my late Uncle Roy. Good ol' Uncle Roy! He used to hang $50 dollar bills on the Christmas tree for my brothers and I. Poor guy went to prison for embezzling. ;)
