Australia: 1927 (m) silver florin of George V, Canberra Parliament House commemorative, Melbourne mint

    PCGS MS64. Cert. #37260254.

    Numista-12501, Krause-Mishler-31.

    .925 silver, .3364 oz. Diameter: 28.5 mm. Weight: 11.31 g. Melbourne mint.

This one-year type was struck to commemorate the opening of the Old Parliament House in Canberra. I have always thought it was a handsome design.

Ex-eBay. Prior provenance to Stacks-Bowers August 2019 Hong Kong auction, Lot 53779. Described there as "A bright and flashy piece with full luster and an attractive splash of toning."
