Russia (Soviet Union): 1924- ПЛ silver rouble, Leningrad mint

    PCGS MS62. Cert. #84747425.

    Numista-7401, Krause-Mishler (Yeoman)-90.1.

    .900 silver, .5786 oz. Diameter: 33.5 mm. Weight: 20 g. Mintage: 12,998,000.

"Workers of the world, unite!" declares the obverse of this coin, which portrays an idealistic optimism at a time when the Soviet Union was still young. The side with the two workers is technically the reverse, despite the arrangement in the slab and these images.

    Ex-eBay.
