Been branching out somewhat lately. My UK and Commonwealth collections have been stale for some time and I've now found myself picking up whatever I find visually appealing - and, of course, at a low enough price. Here's a few new pickups. Nothing very special, but I liked the looks and loved the prices: 1960 Denmark 5 Kroner - 1938 Colombia 10 Centavos - c. Late 19th - Early 20th Century Wrestling Medal - Have a few more I've yet to photograph, but will update as soon as I do.
This Canadian New Brunswick double dime not mine. It's on the bay now with a little over 4 hours left. It's at $148.00 now .....I'm thinking it may hit below a grand. 252766880675
My world coins collection is just getting more and more eclectic it seems. Here are a few more of my newest. Canada - 1987 Dollar Proof Great Britain - 1916 George V 3 Pence Great Britain - 1916 George V Half Penny Greece - 1874 A 50 Lepta
I just won this. So sellers photos. So excited for it, One of he nicest proofs I've seen. Usually they have carbon spots, fingerprints or the coloring is really uneven. But this one is a beaut. I sure think it should be higher than a 65.
Here are a pair of new pickups for my Hungarian set: A matched pair of uniface die trials Hungary 10 Krajczár 1870GYF KM-451.2 Tin (normally a silver issue) Obverse Trial 1.02g 18mm Reverse Trial 0.79g 18mm Paper and glue remnants on the reverses are evident; left over from their time in the mint archive book at the Gyulafehérvár (Karlsburg) mint. This pair of die trials is possibly unique. I have found no reference to them in any standard catalog, including the Adamovszky catalog, which is the definitive source (including patterns, proofs, off-metal strikes, and trials) for information on Hungarian coins of this period.
I picked this 8 Reales up a few days ago but just got around to taking a picture today. It is a Spanish 8 Reales minted in Mexico City in 1820 featuring Ferdinand VII on the obverse.
You're very welcome. Must have been a very old cleaning, it looks like it has retoned nicely. May I ask the grade on the riksdaler? I've actually never seen that particular type until your post.
