Do you consider those a crop, or weeds?

I just finished chopping some up for my nightly salad. Finding them in grocery stores is a crapshoot - they don't hold up well at all during transport or display, and sometimes I'll go for days without finding any at all, or finding only sad wilted yellow-brown wads. I've considered taking up hydroponics to grow my own, but it's unlikely to happen.

There is a place on the ICW in Brunswick I've eaten at several times, it's in between Jeckyl Island and St Simons. Kind of rustic, good seafood, atmosphere and view. I enjoyed it. I don't remember the name of it, I googled it and it must have changed names since I've been there.

My dad's saying used to be, "this side of the grass".

That used to be Spanky’s. It’s Marshside Grill now. Great place. You can sit out on the deck and look across the marsh to the islands. Sometimes dolphins will come right up the tidal creek there and blow.

Mustard greens are definitely a crop for Don. He cooks ‘em up in a big pot. Not without his daughter’s supervision, though- it was a kitchen fire two years ago on Thanksgiving that burned his house down and brought him to live with us.

That's right! There also used to be a Spanky's in Savannah too. Maybe they were family owned.
